REAL ACOUSTICS: REAL DIFFERENCE
Spectre Sound was founded in 1998 by Glenn Fricker with the goal of creating high quality recordings for independent & small label music acts. An award winning graduate of Sheridan College's illustrious Media Arts program, Glenn has a passion for all things musical. Leaning towards the Hard Rock/Metal end of the spectrum, Glenn quickly gathered a reputation for outstanding productions in the heavy rock genre. Able to switch musical genres with ease, he's also worked with Country, Celtic, & Blues acts to much critical acclaim.
In 2003, Spectre Sound underwent a paradigm shift with the construction of a new facility. Located a short driving distance from the Windsor/Detroit border, Spectre's new studio is unique among local project studios as it features a Reflection Free Zone control/mix room. Constructed using tried and true acoustic principles, this new facility translates mixes into the real world seamlessly. This was evidenced by Spectre producing Unrestrained! Magazine's "Best album of 2004."
